To Do's Reflections of 2010

I started this blog to try and get a lot accomplished. To help me manage my time, goals and live my life. Thus I created a list of 100 things for my life and a list of top 25 things for this year specific. I did not get all my top 25 done nor my top 100, but I did a good dent.

Things I know I have gotten done for sure on my list of 25:
  • #1 My IMC Certificate - nailed it!
  • #8 Started a blog - THIS ONE!

and

LUSH LEGEND VIDEO:

  • # 90 Las Vegas - last weekend of August 8/28/10
Attempted

  • POI - Fire-dance - learning it and so need to practice
Just looking through this I feel happy but wish I had done a bit more. There are things I started but did not attempt again and I am disappointed in myself for this. Like tango, really my shoes are stopping me?

Or like the Wii. I own it and don't use it, BULL! I tried to do bungee and skydiving but they fell through. I never made it to schedule my CPR that is pure lollygagging on my part. Oddly my dad's bags are a mute issue, go figure.

All in all, out of 25 I have completely finished 10 of them and have four pending/attempted. So you know I am not feeling too bad.

THE Holiday Party 12.18.10

If you didn't know, Ms. R and I started talking about the holidays and wanting to do something together. All our events were family, work or something else that was a restricted event. Meaning we couldn't let loose and have fun. This bugging us made us decide to do our OWN party.

Realizing we couldn't do it alone we asked our friend to invite their and even a few to help us organize it. OMG thank goodness we did and WOW did Ms. A pull through. She asked a friend of her's and got us Mr. Smiths.

The venue was swank, it had three floors. The basement was ready for a party and dancing and the bar was crowded and with places to sit. Then upstairs had more seating and a chill out spot to get a little intimate! From the moment we got the place it was all about spreading the word.

Oh did we! There were a 100 YES RSVP's and about 125 MAYBE's on FB. Even with the weather trying to rain us out we had a ton of people and they just kept showing up. So Ms. A and I got there early, and all dolled out.
To our surprise we found a brandy tasting going on and thought it was a nice addition. Soon after Mr. A and Ms. A walked in. They both ran down stairs to get some dancing in before the floor got crowded. While I waited to greet people who came.

People just keep pouring in!

The party is off and so am I thanks to a taami berry, my secret weapon to help me drink. I am sure you remember me telling you how it makes things sweet, it does and I love it. I check my bag and jacket and then am off fluttering around the party. My girls trickle in and so do my boys.

I feel so blessed to have friends that I haven't seen in months come out. Heck one of my girls who disappeared of the face of the planet my twin another Ms.N showed up! The night is filled with drinks and dancing... even more flirting! The phrase " You don't know what you do to me" was getting thrown around. I guess the dress was more deadly than I thought!

It was a funny night that involved me getting picked up twice! Once was to help me get around the crowd by a complete stranger the other was by our own camera man who's pics I am waiting on. Me wanting pics? Weird I know!

The party was just one big blur of happy moments. Bouncing around from friend to friend trying to talk to them all. Hearing my name called and following it. Always searching and being sought.

A truly successful party that just rocked. Everyone is grabbing each other a drink and I some how went from none to two. I am so happy that everyone was able to make it out. Plus got to cross off the big party from my list.. I am sure their will be many more, this must be repeated.

BAYPAC 12.10-12.12.10 trip

Once again after work I am off to go to Tahoe. Myself, Ms. Chilli, Ms. N, Mr. S all climb into Mr. A's car (who on the trip got fondly named Cricket). The ride up is pretty quick and easy going. With good music mostly the Stone and Nirvana. It is a bit long specially the end with the windy roads.

Once we get there and start checking out the cabin, I am so happy with the choice. It is just as sweet as I thought. The whole time I am grabbing people's secret numbers for a silly FB thing. We all wind down grab some veggies to munch on and pop into the hot tub. The night goes well in to the early hours we before we all crawl off to our beds.
The morning is amazing and I wake up to a lovely view. It is quite nice to have one of the master suites. We take our sweet time but are still out by 9:30 a.m. (UGH!). So once dress and up and out we are just waiting for everyone to get their gear.
Sitting all ready to go and Mr. A out of my line of site gets the camera all ready and focused. Then calls my name and snaps, all I can say is Damn! I am not the biggest picture person.

Off it is to the slopes and I am doing pretty well. Fully getting the hang of things and going off on my own. Even getting more comfortable just going forward and not falling as much. Yet I am seriously getting sick of my behind being cold from all the sitting to get my bindings on.
Half way through the day I stop to get some food and follow it up with hot coco and peppermint schnaps. Then go back out on the slopes for some more. I realize I am tired and think that quitting earlier than later makes sense. The night goes great. Mr. A and I go and grab food and I make a nice big meal. I have Mr. A and Ms. NC helping out and the rest of the crew is playing pool or card games. We are listening, cooking and dancing meanwhile singing. It's a blast. Before you know it the food is done and we are all eating. After, I go and study. Shh I know lame but I have a test on Monday.

Half the group goes to the Casino, the other half chills and passes out. I study and then try to hot tub a bit. HA that works out badly. I slip on the stairs get a great bruise and end up goose bumps in the hot tub. How? The top was left off and the heat out! Grr. I relent and take a way hotter bath.
The next day is actually a lot of the same, but I am messing up a bit more cause of being tired. I am smart this time and use my hand/toe warmers in my back pockets. Hey it kept my butt warm! (Doubt the above is me but might as well be, as I was in all black)

I ride for like four hours go to get food eat lunch and pass out in the sun for like an hour. It felt great. After I got my hot coco with peppermint schnaps and meet some cool guys to board with more.
We board for some more hours and then start to head down the mountain to go home. I am messing up the whole way, just exhausted. Yet the light is amazing and I have to thank Mr. A for catching some great shots of the scenery.

The drive back we are all exhausted and cannot help but take a nap. We stop for food and keep trucking sooner than later I am back home and changing. Not being able to help checking out the damage I do.

Oye, I am beaten up something fierce. There are bruises on bruises, my body aches and its hard to get into the shower. Yet I am elated. I know stupid but I am getting how to board.

BAYPAC 1st Tahoe Part 1

Who is crazy for Tahoe and boarding? I AM! Good all I wanna do is go snowboarding as much as I can this winter. The best way I know how is make it happen, to do that you organize it.

So I did. I decided to go out swank this time. So when I found a cabin less than 10 minuets to Heavenly that had a custom pool table and a sweet game room. Not to mention it could fit 8 to 10 easily.
With the rooms set up for privacy, and a custom kitchen that is made to cook and dinner. This cabin is ready to chill and have a party. Everything is set up for us to just show up.

Not only that but what is a Tahoe trip with out a hot tub? Ugh not a trip I would go on! I learned from one bittersweet trip just how important a hot tub is. After a day on the slopes all I will want is to sink into a hot body of water.
I am looking forward to this first group trip. I got two of my good girls with me Ms. B and Ms. C (N - long story we share the same name). With Mr. A and Mr. K plus his two friend Ms. V and Mr.V plus BAYPAC's Mr.S and his girl who will be staying for a day. Half of us are early birds who are going up at like 7am tomorrow are Mr. K, Mr. B and the two V's. The rest of us have to work (UGH!) and are leaving after around 7pm.

How to buy a pair of shoes

Shoes, often a woman's "best friend" or rather its their "addiction". I have never really got it. I mean why would I want to wear something that hurts and kills my feet? Why do I want blisters and more. For what fashion?

I will admit I have been this stupid, I have some incredible shoes but I can't wear them comfortably for hours. So what is the point? For them to sit in my closet and me to look at them! I think not. Thus the war between shoes and my feet was started years ago.

After 27 years, I figured out how to buy shoes. I've a fool proof way to buy shoes. You got to promise not to tell. Heh. Tell away. You know me never keep a good thing to yourself.

The trick is, only buy shoes when your feet hurt. I mean hurt. They need to be &itc#ing at you. When all you want to do is put them up, soak them or something. That is when its best to buy shoes, cause they will not let you put them in anything that pinches. You will not think, oh I can wear that in... just needs to stretch here.

Killer, knock them down, break my heart shoes of style I cannot promise you. Shoes you can be in all day and night, I can.

First "surprise" trip to Tahoe

This is going to be short, hopefully.

I got invited up to Tahoe, Northstar Village at Tahoe, by a friend of mine. Told Ms. C I probably couldn't come I worked. She was all about well what about Sunday? Yet I was prepping her that without a car I couldn't, but would try to find a ride.

Find a ride I did! I grabbed one with a friend of mine, yes a boy and no I won't give you ALL the juicy details. Sheeze... So after work he picked me up, this was after being a doll and helping pack my bags for me as I ran to work. Granted I left most of it out... though we did have a few calls/texts about where things were.

So ten minuets after I am out of work he his picking me up and we are headed to Tahoe. The closer I get the more kid-like I feel and even act. To the point that it is mentioned I am like a 12 year old kid. Yea? So what. Sue me. I am happy and excited, roll with it. The drive is going smoothly until hunger hits.

This is when we stop, at first we don't know where till I ask and find out we are in Old Sacramento. Let me tell you, it is CUTE! So adorable, especially for the holidays. They had a Theater of Lights, with was buildings light up, to a real steam engine. We grabbed a nice (too leisurely) dinner that was fantastic. It included shark, which I liked who would have guessed and Kobe Beef. MMMH.

After we are on the road again and things get bumpy. We have to put on chains and this is not to bad but it is all about figuring out how they work. Things are going smoothly until we drift over 30 and a link in the chain breaks. We start hearing a weird noise. This starts a bunch of issues.

What issues? Well while we were only like 45 miles away, we can't really go above 15 miles. If we do the chain busts again. We are trying to repair it, with well what ever we have at hand. What we have at hand is safety pin on my sweater. Thank goodness I was in a punk mood and wore that sweater. After exhausting all safety pins and even a key ring we make it to Northstar at Tahoe. Let me tell you, the key ring was the best fix.

Once there we get walked by nice security guards to the correct spot. Got up to the room, set everything up got to hang out with Ms. C for a quick bit and then it was crash time. All too soon the next morning was upon us, ok actually the kids were.

Crazy how babysitter/mom mode kicks in instantly. Kid comes out and I am like what do you need sweetie. In moments I am getting water and trying to figure out food for this little one. Me figuring out FOOD in the AM when I feel sick to all hell? YUP!

So when I realized the kids didn't like eggs, then it was hmm. I remember something my mom would make, toast with butter and sugar. Sure enough it worked on them like it did on me and as more little ones piled out, so did more toast.

Then it was out on the slopes. I was doing really well or I felt like it till the last run and half. What is a run and a half, you ask? Well I went on what I thought is my last run. I go to ask how to get to bottom they say their is no way that you have to take the lift up again and come down another way.

Let me say when I heard this. I wanted to cry. So I take the lift back up, utterly exhausted and try to brave myself to go again. I really wish I hadn't I was way to tired to control anything. By the time I got to the end, I fell so many times I was laughing so hard I sounded like I was crying.

Once everything was returned as we head to the car, I call Ms. C to see whats up. She being stuck in mad traffic tells us to go eat first then leave. So we do, and grab sushi. The last three hours I am just frozen and looking like a wet cat, miserable.

The ride back is actually really quick and quite fun. We make it home in like a little more than four hours. I wish I took some pictures, and sorry this wasn't that short.

10 tricks to buy a bra

As anyone who knows me well, knows I love lingerie. When I go back to retail its always in that department. I am an expert and love helping women be comfortable in their bras. I believe our foundation is important so that the rest of our clothes look great. So ladies, here are my top 10 tips on how to buy a good bra

  1. GET MEASURED! You do NOT know your size. 85% of the time women are wrong about their size. If the words I THINK come out of your mouth or its been longer than a year.... then get measured!
  2. Ask for HELP! Unless you are shopping with me or have spent 3 plus years in the lingerie industry, you probably need help. Please we are all girls, just ask for it. Cause an uncomfortable bra just sucks, in more ways the one. It doesn't do anything for you, nor does it feel good on. Plus different brands and styles fit differently and do different things. You are probably a different size in some of them!
  3. Adjust the straps to you. Get the sales associate to help you a friend... someone. Straps are adjustable for a reason, no two torsos are exactly the same. So please adjust the straps so that it fits your torso.
  4. Bras should be tighter not looser. When you take off your bra you should see a line where it was. This line disappears in 10-20 minuets, if after half an hour you still have lines... then your in the wrong size.
  5. Finger space. You should be able to put two fingers under the clasp and on finger on the front. If you can't too tight. If you can pull the band away very easily with out any tension away from your body too lose.
  6. Bra's break into our bodies. The band wears and cups mold to us. A bra should be about 85-90% comfortable in the fitting room. If it is a 110% comfortable, it doesn't fit.
  7. NO SPILLAGE. You should not be spilling out of the cups, or having the four boob look. Please put on a nice white thin t-shirt and see how the bra looks under clothes.
  8. Bras are proportional. If the cup is right but the band is to tight, go up a band a down a cup; if the bands too loose, go down a band and up a cup.
  9. Yes Nude. You need a nude bra. Get over it. White will show under white.
  10. Find your styles. Figure out your shape and what flatters your body. If you are full and narrow then you will do well with plunges, full coverage, triangle shapes. If you are heavy and wide then you will do better in demi, balconette, a flatter line.

Farwell to Ms.J

MS. J
I've known Ms. J for a short time but sure I will continue to know her for probably the rest of my life. This because within moments of meeting I felt like we've been friends FOREVER!

First moments, interesting. Trying to locate her as she emerges from BART. With no idea about SF and where street are or anything. So nothing I told her helped. Since she joined in on my first STRONG event we had never actually met before and didn't know what the other looks like!

I am waiting for her, on the phone-trying to give direction. Nope. Walking to her also wasn't working. Finally standing in the middle of the street waving my arms around for her to find me, it worked. Off we go chatting up a storm to pick up the rest of the girls to go wine tasting.

The wine tasting goes without a hitch. The event actually keeps going for hours past the normal time. It is amazing how one thing lead to another and the group melted together. I remember walking away from it thinking how wonderful it was to meet to new friends and reconnect with an old one.

If asked to describe Ms. J from my first meeting, I'd say great energy, an open genuine person who was just adorable almost cutsy.

So we hang and get food once or twice and mostly talk on the phone. She then gets a group together to do a city wide scavenger hunt race. It sounded interesting. I had to be prodded into it. I get there and she's late, something I should get used to. Wait aren't I the Latina? Hmm.

She shows up and is in FLIP FLOPS! Not realizing some how that this is a race and I don't like coming in last. We take off running, with myself yelling at the whole group to pick up the pace.

Ms. J " I just can't run not in flip-flops." She is right she can't. Leading me to say, "What want me to carry you?!" Naturally the answer was yes. I learn just right then and there what a baby Ms. J can be if you let her. Otherwise she's a strong independent woman.I ended up carrying her for a bit. This was with the understanding that the boys could keep up with me. Do you think they did? No not really. Here I am with a whole other human being piggy back, and I am not talking a toddler.

We run in and out of places, finding ourselves swarmed in crowds. I keep having to turn back to find my group. Somehow I keep losing them. Ms. J looks at me and like I have magical disappearing powers. She says, " This is not a city scavenger hunt, its a 'Where's Natasha' hunt."
The race was actually fun, I made us stop to buy her real shoes. Ms. J has some adorable faces and quirky phrases. As we stopped in plenty of places. Got a food and drinks on the way we just keep . It was a great bonding experience to romp around the city. We were the only to girls and started to really just click even more. In the end we felt we could have done a better hunt.
Time flies and while we have been hanging out but all of sudden it is my birthday. Ms. J was horrified to hear about how I hide from my bday's. She bullied me yes this lil slip of a thing bullied me into throwing a bday party.

It was a great party and everyone has a blast. I am feeling blessed that I have such good friends with me and Ms. J is quickly becoming a close friend too. The night goes one we dance and drink. I admit I got drunk with the help of Taami Berry.
Ms. J with a watchful eye was with me pretty much the whole night; or at least as much as she could be. I have a tendency to disappear and luckily reappear. Leading Ms J to complain that it was once again "Where's Natasha and who did I think I was Waldo?"

With sleepover's under our belt to other girl dates from food to museums. Starting to develop our own language. We have fully bonded and continue to go out and make more plans.
With a good group of girls developing we go out to drink and dance. We'd get together often for drinks and food in the city mostly, but even go out to Berkeley and Walnut Creek. In WC it was Ms. J in a Ms.N sandwich.

Every time I hang out with Ms. J, it is a good time. She has a bunch of phrases that actually need to be added to our own language. Things like " A little Shh-shhy" were common and having something emphasized with jazz hands.

As time passes on more events, parties and things that are planned by STRONG and BAYPAC she joins and an admin. Ms. J has a lot of wonderful ideas, full of passion and energy. We are like two peas in a pod and are happy bouncing off each other.
One of her ideas was a Stoplight party, which I mixed with Ms. R's live band at DNA. At this point she was thinking of leaving the bay which I was against. So to give her time to decide and get on her feet I had invited her in my place. Which is a small and cramped space for one but in many regards we made it work and in other hell no. We come to find out that our personal tastes are extreme opposites. To the point that if I like it, she won't and visa versa.

Who would have known two people with very similar spirits and that bonded instantly would be disagree on everything. Like seriously we needed two fridges oh wait I have that! It was easy to help point out guys for the other, if we didn't like they probably did. In general I loved having Ms. J around, it was great to have someone to talk to and work the day out with.

I think she picked up a lot from me too and pushed her comfort limits. I know I helped teach her how to manage time better. We learned so much and in so little time. It was great fun to play big/little sis. To have someone to play dress up and make with and who'd do it back.Ms. J was always up for my crazy events and so it was no surprise when roller disco came up that she wanted to go. Specially when she realized it was done by Black Rock the burner infamy and costumes encouraged. So we started playing dress up and when it got to one of my wigs well Ms. J fell in loved. With Mr. MA and Mr. G the four of us went to skate off in Black Rock History.

If you read my previous blog you will know just what fun the night was. She did really well for not having skated in ever. We continue to live our normal routines, which for anyone else is nothing but normal. We are going out, dancing and drinking or out to dinners. We pack more in a week that most people do in a month. She is really picking up on all my bad habits.

I find myself wishing I had a bigger place that this girl would just rock and be a good roomie. We call each other on our shit easily. We mis-communicate but work though it rather quickly, usually rewinding or yelling a bit to make it make sense. In general we hardly did have any issues, once we learned each others habits.Like that when she got home, hugs were mandatory. Not that I mind It's cute to have someone take your comp off your lap, crawl in to have huggle time.
So when we realized it was going to have to end. That SF was not taking off for her that a change was in order. We had to scramble for a last minuet farewell party for her. Thus we chose to go to the Grove and invited all her friends. This was just last week on the 8th, and a great time. People came and went as they needed. It was a wonderful party to say good by and Ms. J was hugged by all.

I am going to miss this girl so much and already do. Ms. J and I were always working on something, talking or planning an activity. I can't tell you how much I loved being able to just decompress and have someone outside of my head. Or how we could talk with looks and a general sound, maybe one word. She was always game, a great energy with funny expressions. Oh how she could loose track of time. Yet with a heart of gold and a easy going personality; Ms. J is already missed.

AASF: Giants World Champs... History being made

Oh to be in the city when the Giant's won the world series. Oh wait I was. Only wish I could have partaken more! The bit which I did get was fantastic. So let me tell you about it.

When we won, the city took to the streets. Everyone is out in black and orange screaming or honking their horns. It took twice as long on the bus and when I finally got home... if that's what you want to call it. I got as far as Fillmore to find Chestnut blocked off by people. The bus just stopped and everyone got off. There was no room to go, the whole street was filled. To see an example of this and what I am writing see the 2min video below.

The cops just helped reroute traffic and tried to free a muni bus or two. They only got two out of the five we had stuck in the street. People were crawling on top of the MUNI and dancing. This is all captured in the 2min video above. It was a crazy party!

Rushing home to change out of Bloomies clothes. I was in a dress, boots and a heavy purse. Sure you can figure out why I rushed. Yup I wanted to climb on top of the bus too! When I got back now in jeans no one was on top of it. =( I did get to drink and eat and dance in the street with tons of people. So that was fun. The mood was just amazing. I got to meet up with a few of my girls. We kept it an early low key night, it was just too crazy.

Wednesday morning, I got to catch a bit of the parade and watch as over a million people stomped through Market. Everything slowed down and everyone was late. Business were closing down to let people enjoy. Heck stores just shut down. In part because over a million people showed up from all around the bay area. Not all have the same loving mentality we do in SF.

In case you can't tell, you should be here... it was history in the making

Disco Baby, Roller Disco

If you know me, you will know I am not really a roller skater or roller-blader. Yet you will know I love music and dancing. So when I found about about roller disco, well I didn't care how bad I would be on skates I just wanted to go dance. Thus it went on my list of To-Do's, big whoop right? Not like I actually work on the list, right? WRONG! I love my list and am trying to cross it all off.

Thus I saw the chance which has slipped me by more than once to go Roller Disco, I knew I had to jump on it. I was so right! I broke out my old blades, yes I still have them. For once being a pack rat comes to my rescue and helped save me $5 and blisters! Roller Disco having a discount if you came in costume had tons of people dressed up. Yet what would I expect from the Black Rock Roller Disco, nothing but a fabulous Burner party. Naturally I out came the Burner clothes by Ms. S and we went to party.
Well my crew had my baby girl (more to come), Mr. MA who is from work and actually was kind enough to play taxi to us. Mr.G a friend from Argentina who is pretty much squatting. These boys of course being BOYS do not dress up or have fun, Leaving us girls to look completely H.O.T. in our Burner gear by ourselves. Ok a little weird to walk around SF in our costumes but thank goodness it is SF and we are not the weirdest thing out there.

Once we arrive, I find my friends quickly and we start hanging. Ms. A and her crew was there with Mr. K being the "professional" as always. My girl don Ms. J who I got to dress up and OMG she looked something fierce in my wig. Granted I think she is starting to learn that trying to play dress up in my clothes so doesn't work! At first the place is crowded as hell and it is a standing disco pretty much.

Lucky for me I run into my old favorite and now completely head of security Mr. A. At first we pass by each other both feeling like we know the other but keep walking. A drink later, a few laps back. I start to explore my old haunts now getting a bit more comfortable on my blades. I check out to see if there is still a smoking lounge having over heard Mr. MA. Remembering right, there is and I manage to complete my mission of finding him a smoke.

When I come back there is a train, conga, skate line going and I jump in. Everyone is twisting and turning and we are actually starting to skate fast since no one has to be in the way. It is amazing to see the line get longer and loop its self. The person in the middle frantic leading and almost pulling the whole line. I almost lose the line and catch it multiple times, granted breaking the smoke for Mr. MA. Opps.

After a fun time I grab some friends and a drink, we keep talking and dancing. Fun times being had by all and we just keep bouncing around and doing laps. A the night gets on the floor clears out. We start to be able to dance, skate around with each other. Of which I had two partners, one who was seriously cute and we got to go off chill and talk ;-)... The other who knew how to skate and dance at the same time. Which had me tripping over my feet and actually managed to make me fall. Eh whatever. The skating was all good but when it was over, we were hungry.

So we piled out of the Roller Disco and went on the hunt for Mr. MA's car. Lucky for me I know where it is and walk us straight to it. Granted that in itself can be hard when corralling three other people all slightly under a drink. We head off towards my house and make a stop at Mel's. Once after having eaten some grub the four of us head back to my tiny studio. Some how we all manage to pile in, hang out and crash out... horizontally on my bed. As I float off to sleep, all I can think is: "I feel like I am 21 again and the after party crash pad, how did I get back here? Eh."

Picture to come, maybe... regardless another one crossed off the list!

My computer isn't public property

When did the computer become a free for all? This has been an issue that keeps seeming to pop up. My friends who know me from Oregon might remember this being a complaint and something that would get me to blow up at them. One who I care for deeply and must get his sorry behind down here to visit, Mr. R didn't speak to me for a week after being yelled at.

Recently, this issue is popping up all over the M.F.B.J. place. Don't ask what that mean's its a joke from my dad but suffice to say it very bad. In Cali it is the same thing. People just go onto your computer, change your things, log you out and don't ask. Excuse you, but really? No, not OK. It is MY computer. Not the HOUSE computer or for ANYONE computer. It is Natasha's. Ok with Ms. J I do get it a bit and she has a bit of an excuse but not really. Once I am home all bets are off.

I get that you want to show me something, or that you want to check on something. Yet still ask before you take over my computer. If I give you the computer for a specific purpose, Mr. A. Then USE it for that purpose and when you are done ask if you can quickly check other things. BTW quickly means 5-10 minuets, not 20 to half an hour. Really people.

It is seriously annoying to watch people flitter around on my comp when I am not. First off, if anyone should be goofing off on there it is me. Plus I have so much actual work to do on it that I need to be doing, but I am not. Why? Because I have company, which is more important than my work. Yes, that company would be YOU SHITHEAD! Guess what you are doing? ON MY COMPUTER?!

Can you see how this would seriously piss me off? I don't give anything my full attention. If I do count your blessing because it is a rare thing. This is something I was recently made aware of by my babygirl Ms. J. So if you are actually getting my attention, don't disrespect it by not giving me yours and playing on my comp. If you must play on your own but don't expect me to hook you up to the net. I can't it's my landlords, so trust me when it messes up on my side that is a whole another ranting blog.

If you think this is directed towards you, well I promise you are not the only person. I can think of five off the top of my head who this goes towards.

Bra Tricks: Attachments 1

Girls I know that bra's are a pain. I know this for many reasons. Not just because I am a girl who has boobs and thus must deal with them. Friends who know me, just SHHH don't go there. Thanks you. Yes, love you too.

When it comes to retail I have always worked lingerie. It is fun, I get to help make women feel comfortable in their own bodies and for special occasions and difficult dresses. Some issue crop up often. So ladies pay note.
The low back extender. See how it hooks onto the sides of the bra, and you wrap it around yourself to bring the straps lower. You got it, those low back but normal front dresses. Not a bad thing to have in the wardrobe huh?

Or what about bring in the strap for racer backs? Yup having a few converters will help keep your straps out of the way. Now granted you can find some funk straps and change the convertible strapless. Or if you want a more elegant look find a converter.

Vegas: Ms.G Bachorette and August Bday's

Vegas... Can it really be happening? Yes it is. The day is all about running around like crazy. Getting to the airport, through the lines and then just sitting while the plane takes you. All you can do is try to relax and wind down but you're on the start of a trip; who can relax?!

So I don't really consider any of that to be part of the trip. For me it starts when you walk into your hotel and start to figure out where you are going to be staying. This is when you get to unwind, put your stuff down and go exploring. The hotels in Vegas do not skimp and neither did we, it is excess and luxury all the way.
The elevator keeps going up what seems like forever and it really sinks in. The start of a girls weekend in Vegas has just begun. I came already dressed to go out that night since I arrived at night. Enter the room to see chaos almost as five girls are getting ready to go out, myself being six. The view from our hotel was incredible but then again its Mandalay.

Let me tell you five girls getting ready is not an easy task. We distract each other and start on something else. You start playing with each others make up and hair and then all of the sudden time has passed. Yet we managed it rather quickly, ok not at all but shh. With the Bachelorette in blue and the rest of the crew in black. We are all ready and geared to go out.

After what seems to be forever we meet up with our last girl and start to head out for our evening activities. Lucky for us we are VIP pretty much everywhere. How could we not be? There are 7 hot girls in one group, Vegas was begging us to walk in. So sweet.
One thing Vegas does well is, Excess. I mean everything is done up over the top. Like nothing you have ever seen before. Well, OK not true. Like the best of things you have seen before in one place. Which makes it a bit fake in many places but then again, seriously sweet in others.
Dancing and drinking to hopping different clubs. In the middle of it all going out we stopped to grab grub because half of us were starving. During the meal or more the wait for it we amused ourselves with a game of "I never". Luckily the real drinks didn't arrive till later. With food done we were back to the clubs dancing the night away. Joining other groups and lounging in VIP booth and cabanas. Then it was off to our beds before we woke the next day.
When we all finally woke the next day from what seemed like a dead sleep. The sun was out, the day was amazing and we were headed to the pool. After all we really did just want to keep snoozing, might as well be while getting a tan. Right?
As some point we all got hungry and ordered food. Once again we find that the food is quick, full of grease and fried. Delicious but not very healthy. I guess we should be happy we all ate so healthy while prepping to come here.
After a bit, our own personal photographer Ms. E and I decided to wander around on our own. It is such a lovely day. The whole property of Mandalay is sleek and amazing with elephants everywhere. I loved the heat and lounging around really helped revitalize everyone. Yet all said and done we still went back home for a siesta before starting our night out.
When the limo pulled up we were so excited. It was huge and just to take us to Olympic Gardens a strip club. When you walk in, its normal there are girls on stage and the atmosphere is boring almost. Then we girls go upstairs and before you even get there you hear the screams. It is completely different. Everyone is kinda all over everyone or at least the girls are encouraged to touch, grab and participate unlike the men.
These guys have no qualms about handling us girls and are rather forward about it. It is not just that they dance on you, they rotate you into the dance. Girls were lifted up to straddle the dancers to flipped around. They are rowdy and get into their acts.
We girls traded buying each other lap dances. Or placing dollar bills in each others cleavage. Everyone is half blushing and shy, with the other half joining in on the energy of the club. You can't help but get into it when even the waiters are telling you to "Slap their ass, for the drink". Las Vegas is all about challenging the norm.
It didn't take too long for us to get a bit bored at the strip club. Sure they were cute, and it was different but it wasn't really anyone's thing. So off we went to our club hops where we were VIP to TAO.
The group of girls shrinks as the night goes on but the four of us hold strong. Dancing and drinking into the night. Migrating all over the club from inside to the outside pool area. I loved all the outside pools it really just rocked. The night goes on and we dont get back till the morning where we all crash like the zombies we are.

Next day more people are leaving which is sad. It starts to boil down to just three of us, which is still a lot of fun. We went to Tao's pool party which was ok but not great. The place was packed and small. So we spent more time outside Tao in the hotels pool than inside.

After we went to wander around the Vegas strip. It is a lot of fun to just go where the heart desires. After a bit of shopping, and gambling we were starved. So we went to a sushi happy hour.

This was probably the best food we ate the whole trip. After all the grease and fried having sushi, healthy food was needed. Let me tell you Ra fed us well. We feasted and it was the best thing.
All in all Vegas was a pretty darn good time. I loved hanging with my girls and the warmth. Special thanks to my girl Ms. E who was our personal photographer.
