Vegas: Ms.G Bachorette and August Bday's

Vegas... Can it really be happening? Yes it is. The day is all about running around like crazy. Getting to the airport, through the lines and then just sitting while the plane takes you. All you can do is try to relax and wind down but you're on the start of a trip; who can relax?!

So I don't really consider any of that to be part of the trip. For me it starts when you walk into your hotel and start to figure out where you are going to be staying. This is when you get to unwind, put your stuff down and go exploring. The hotels in Vegas do not skimp and neither did we, it is excess and luxury all the way.
The elevator keeps going up what seems like forever and it really sinks in. The start of a girls weekend in Vegas has just begun. I came already dressed to go out that night since I arrived at night. Enter the room to see chaos almost as five girls are getting ready to go out, myself being six. The view from our hotel was incredible but then again its Mandalay.

Let me tell you five girls getting ready is not an easy task. We distract each other and start on something else. You start playing with each others make up and hair and then all of the sudden time has passed. Yet we managed it rather quickly, ok not at all but shh. With the Bachelorette in blue and the rest of the crew in black. We are all ready and geared to go out.

After what seems to be forever we meet up with our last girl and start to head out for our evening activities. Lucky for us we are VIP pretty much everywhere. How could we not be? There are 7 hot girls in one group, Vegas was begging us to walk in. So sweet.
One thing Vegas does well is, Excess. I mean everything is done up over the top. Like nothing you have ever seen before. Well, OK not true. Like the best of things you have seen before in one place. Which makes it a bit fake in many places but then again, seriously sweet in others.
Dancing and drinking to hopping different clubs. In the middle of it all going out we stopped to grab grub because half of us were starving. During the meal or more the wait for it we amused ourselves with a game of "I never". Luckily the real drinks didn't arrive till later. With food done we were back to the clubs dancing the night away. Joining other groups and lounging in VIP booth and cabanas. Then it was off to our beds before we woke the next day.
When we all finally woke the next day from what seemed like a dead sleep. The sun was out, the day was amazing and we were headed to the pool. After all we really did just want to keep snoozing, might as well be while getting a tan. Right?
As some point we all got hungry and ordered food. Once again we find that the food is quick, full of grease and fried. Delicious but not very healthy. I guess we should be happy we all ate so healthy while prepping to come here.
After a bit, our own personal photographer Ms. E and I decided to wander around on our own. It is such a lovely day. The whole property of Mandalay is sleek and amazing with elephants everywhere. I loved the heat and lounging around really helped revitalize everyone. Yet all said and done we still went back home for a siesta before starting our night out.
When the limo pulled up we were so excited. It was huge and just to take us to Olympic Gardens a strip club. When you walk in, its normal there are girls on stage and the atmosphere is boring almost. Then we girls go upstairs and before you even get there you hear the screams. It is completely different. Everyone is kinda all over everyone or at least the girls are encouraged to touch, grab and participate unlike the men.
These guys have no qualms about handling us girls and are rather forward about it. It is not just that they dance on you, they rotate you into the dance. Girls were lifted up to straddle the dancers to flipped around. They are rowdy and get into their acts.
We girls traded buying each other lap dances. Or placing dollar bills in each others cleavage. Everyone is half blushing and shy, with the other half joining in on the energy of the club. You can't help but get into it when even the waiters are telling you to "Slap their ass, for the drink". Las Vegas is all about challenging the norm.
It didn't take too long for us to get a bit bored at the strip club. Sure they were cute, and it was different but it wasn't really anyone's thing. So off we went to our club hops where we were VIP to TAO.
The group of girls shrinks as the night goes on but the four of us hold strong. Dancing and drinking into the night. Migrating all over the club from inside to the outside pool area. I loved all the outside pools it really just rocked. The night goes on and we dont get back till the morning where we all crash like the zombies we are.

Next day more people are leaving which is sad. It starts to boil down to just three of us, which is still a lot of fun. We went to Tao's pool party which was ok but not great. The place was packed and small. So we spent more time outside Tao in the hotels pool than inside.

After we went to wander around the Vegas strip. It is a lot of fun to just go where the heart desires. After a bit of shopping, and gambling we were starved. So we went to a sushi happy hour.

This was probably the best food we ate the whole trip. After all the grease and fried having sushi, healthy food was needed. Let me tell you Ra fed us well. We feasted and it was the best thing.
All in all Vegas was a pretty darn good time. I loved hanging with my girls and the warmth. Special thanks to my girl Ms. E who was our personal photographer.

Ms. N's Bday

I know, I know. I am late I have not been keeping good update on this blog. Sorry, I did think the Stern Grove one was already posted, it didn't. Opps. So I had been talked into giving my birthdays another chance. So I made it very simple and invited my friends to a central location with a good happy hour, this was Infusion Lounge on Ellis at Powell.

I had told everyone on the invites that it was a Black and White Masquerade party, if they could find a mask. I seriously tried to find masks but I am not even having time to keep this up to date unless written at midnight or later! My mask was made by my good friend Ms. A shown below, she decorated it by hand and it is a prize! I wish I had gotten pictures WITH everyone I wanted.
Unknowingly at Infusion was having a demo during their Happy Hour, and trust me when I say you just have to demo it. Ms. A is eating a lime or lemon and just like myself thinking it was delicious. What can do that? Well Taami Berry can (http://taamiberry.com/) it is just crazy how well it works.
You can see how it is packaged conveniently packaged with a strawberry flavored and put in a tin can. Just like mints, well almost the packaging yes the effect not at all. It actually has the ability to change and alter your taste buds, making everything sour taste sweet!
So as part of the demo are lemon drop shots without sugar and again not needed with this Taami Berry (http://taamiberry.com/) Everything and I mean EVERYTHING just tastes delicious! Shots are going down, and drinks are being filled up. The music is flowing, people are mingling, dancing, eating and drinking.
We order food and everyone (and note this is not nearly everyone just a sliver) starts piling in. The night looks so nice and elegant with people the black and white. The food was good or maybe that was the berry again. It really works and makes everything taste different. It can almost be kind of dangerous.
I mean it as sure enough here I come at the request of the the demo, bringing another tray of shots to the table and group. How I managed to bring the tray without spilling I don't know. I think it has to do with the previous alcohol and confidence it instills? Since I know I can't carry trays well usually.

As the night goes on so does the dancing and drinking. It is a great night and to be surrounded with lots of friends is even more wonderful with everyone in good spirits. So many people came out and seemed like a good time was had by all. My two girls above and I are in co-hoots about planning our upcoming (yes that weekend) trip to VEGAS.
These pictures are actually thanks to my new friend Mr. AA (in the middle), who does photography on the side. What a great night, I think my To-Do of a big party has been done, who knows I can always do bigger and better right?

All About SF: Stern Grove - Jovanotti

Have you been to Stern Grove? It is an amazing venue that holds concerts every summer on Sundays In SF for FREE! Yes I said FREE. It is nestled into the Grove, in its own little valley. people picnic in the trees. My dad, family friend G and myself all went early. We had food, a bottle of wine just chilled while we waited for the festivities to start.
The opening band was a band from Colombia, playing cumbia. This girl could wail and she was all over the place. Jumping, singing, kicking and putting on a great warm up show. I loved the energy, which helped combat the crappy SF summer weather.
Jovanotti rocked the house, I mean ROCKED IT. Dance and sung, riling up the crowd and getting everyone moving. He was moving so much he was dripping. Everyone was dancing and singing along. You couldn't help but get into the good nature of the music and his energy. When he was talking to us it was all about love and making, sharing and creating love. The place was alive almost vibrating with the energy.
You would turn around and realize how many people were surrounding you. The trees everything was packed to the gills. It was filled and everyone was enjoying the misty day. Then all of the sudden we had to turn around away from the stage because where was Jovanotti? Not there!
