Farwell to Ms. N.C.

What can I say about the other Ms. N... a lot. I met her years ago in college, we got mistaken for each other. Since then we became friend and would go out, study in and have a ridiculous road trip to SD.
After college we all split our merry ways and kept in touch. You can imagine how thrilled I was when she said that she was moving to SF. So naturally I said she could stay with me while she figure out her place to stay. It was a bunch of fun. I love showing of my great city. Plus having both of us with similar size was also fun! We started to notice a lot of similar tastes.
From their on we went out, and planned events. She was just all about the night life like I was. It was great to have someone really motivated and into planning like I was. From easy going chill nights and dinner. Naturally I tend to only keep cool people in my life and Ms. NC fit into my group of friends without a problem. Heck we would have Ms. N' sandwiches. Once she was on her own, which was right away, we still went out all the time. We would go to art opening and parties. With Frankenstein chairs and other multipurpose functioning art. Oddly enough we didn't plan to go to the event dressed similarly. It just happened.
Girls night out is a theme. As was having them in the Castro. What we like being able to be out and not get hit on 24/7. The music is good the drinks cheap and everyone feels comfortable to be well what ever we wanna be. Let me tell you, this girl is always ready for a good time and knows you make it yourself. Not to say that she doesn't work hard. Oh yes she does, and a great writer too. Very generous hostess, having us girls out to WC and putting us up if we ever wanted to spend the night.
A constant face at my events, someone who always supports me in any idea I have. She and I started to learn that we really had similar tastes. Sometimes with major event's we would check in so not to dress alike.
She was one of the first people who learned, I know my city. If I wanted to do something that I committed to it. Well then its better to go than not cause you would not regret it. I miss having someone just trust my judgment. It was always great to know I could count on Ms. N to try something out. One of the first people to join on SupperClub for NYE without arm twisting. When the rest of the crew was winding down she and I were still up.Lucky for me I knew she would probably wear her red coat and didn't show her how similar mine was till after the party! We really are twins-ies some times. I know that she will bring STRONG to PD, and keep living life to the fullest. I can't wait for the next reunion.
